Greenwich Cabinets fabricated all custom millwork for this vinyl listening bar at Berimbau, a Brazilian restaurant in Manhattan. Designed as a functional centerpiece, the DJ station serves both as a vinyl listening bar for guests and a stylish extension of the restaurant’s tropical design language.

The main island was built in natural walnut with curved fluted detailing—echoing the organic forms found throughout the space. A custom cutout accommodates the vinyl player, while hidden storage and integrated cable management keep the setup clean and efficient. Above, two compact display shelves showcase albums in rotation, with two long curved shelves designed to hold the restaurant’s full bossa nova collection.

Custom LED lighting was incorporated throughout the millwork to create a warm, ambient bar atmosphere. Set against a deep green wall and surrounded by hand-painted murals, the walnut millwork adds depth, texture, and rhythm to the space—supporting the unique mood and identity of Berimbau’s interior.
